About the Project

4 films, 5 artists, 2 months. A creative process out in the open.

Support post-production for 4 films being made right before your eyes by some of Calgary’s most compelling animators and new media artists.

Animating and creating in the public space of the Epcor Centre’s Plus 15 Window Galleries, Lindsay Sorell, Brian Batista, Ryan Von Hagen, and Louise Johnson are creating four short films as part of CAOS’s Conflict/Resolution project.

The artist making the art is the art.

Four local artists inhabit +15 gallery windows animating the theme of Conflict/Resolution, bringing the process of animating into the public realm, peeling back the layers of what it takes to create this labour intensive form of media art, and displaying the process as the artwork itself.

Your Donation

By donating to Conflict/Resolution, you contribute directly to each film’s post-production costs. Funds raised will be split equally between the four films to help with editing, soundtrack composition, foley, voice recording, mastering, compositing, and everything it takes to make each film polished and screen-ready.

Calgary Animated Objects Society – CAOS
