SIGGRAPH Asia 2019 Art Gallery – Art Papers Submission Deadline Coming July 1
How do you dream? How do you envision? The SIGGRAPH Asia 2019 Art Gallery and Art Papers program aims to showcase media artwork that embodies artistic visions and creative applications of new media for aesthetic achievement. This year’s theme: Deep Dreaming: Art, AI & Algorithmic Beauty.
Call for Artwork – Deep Dreaming is conceived in two parts:
Deep Dreaming (histories): a curated show of media artists, pioneers from the art/sciences that have wrought new visions of art through algorithmic methods.
Deep Dreaming (futures): a call for artwork submissions that address Deep Dreaming, (re)imagining the future technology-based artistic practices.
The artwork needs to be installed by the artist and artists can join a community of others to “unpack” their work in the Deep Dreaming symposium.
Deep Dreaming (dialogues): a call for papers that addresses Deep Dreaming from philosophical, theoretical, and ethical perspectives.
These papers will be published as part of the proceedings on the ACM Digital Library.
