BURBANK — Marie Moore has been named senior vice president, communications of the Warner Bros. Global Kids, Young Adults and Classics division (KYAC). The announcement was made by Warner Bros. Global Kids, Young Adults and Classics president, Tom Ascheim.
In her new role, Moore will be responsible for developing the internal and external communications strategies and leading the communications team for KYAC’s businesses, including Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, Boomerang and Turner Classic Movies (TCM) as well as Cartoon Network Studios and Warner Bros. Animation (television). She will report jointly to Ascheim and Johanna Fuentes, Warner Bros.’ executive vice president of corporate communications and public affairs. Moore starts on Monday, August 17.

Moore is a WarnerMedia communications veteran and most recently served as senior vice president, communications, TNT, TBS, truTV and HBO Max, a post she left at the end of 2019. In that role, she was part of the senior management team with oversight of the communications strategy for WarnerMedia Entertainment’s suite of top-rated linear cable networks TNT, TBS and truTV, and execution for HBO Max. Prior to that, she was senior vice president, communications for TNT and TBS.
Before joining WarnerMedia, Moore spent eight years at AMC Networks, most recently as senior vice president, public relations, IFC. She also served as vice president, corporate communications, AMC and WEtv. Earlier in her career, she served as vice president, corporate technology practice at Cohn & Wolfe, director of media relations, cable and communications at Cablevision and an account manager at Connors Communications.
