Next month, we’ll be jumping back into the world of The Witcher with Netflix’s 2D anime film, The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf. To further wet our “The Witcher” appetites, the streamer has just released a first look teaser and images, as well as revealed the global voice cast; The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf premieres worldwide August 23.
Before there was Geralt, there was his mentor Vesemir — a swashbuckling young witcher who escaped a life of poverty to slay monsters for coin. But when a strange new monster begins terrorizing a politically fraught kingdom, Vesemir finds himself on a frightening adventure that forces him to confront the demons of his past.
All together now… “Hmmmm.”
The voice cast includes Theo James (Vesemir), Lara Pulver (Tetra), Graham McTavish (Deglan), and Mary McDonnell (Lady Zerbst).
The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf is written and produced by Beau DeMayo and co-produced by The Witcher showrunner and executive producer Lauren Schmidt Hissrich and Studio Mir’s Kwang Il Han, who is also directing.
