We keep it simple. Your data stays yours. We never sell it.

1. Who we are

AnimShorts (animationshortfilms.stream) is operated by Gaussian Blur, R-7 Bhikaji Cama Place, New Delhi — Ansal Chamber. We are an animation short film streaming platform for indie creators and animation fans worldwide.

2. What we collect

  • Account data: Name, email, and password when you register.
  • Payment data: Processed securely by Razorpay. We never store card or UPI details.
  • Usage data: Films watched, searches, and pages visited — used only to improve your experience.
  • Creator data: Film uploads, payout bank details, and earnings records for Studio and Pro plan creators.
  • Communications: Emails you send us and newsletter subscriptions (opt-in only).

3. How we use it

  • To run and improve the AnimShorts streaming service
  • To process subscriptions and payments via Razorpay
  • To send service emails — receipts, account alerts, payout confirmations
  • To send our newsletter only if you opted in (one-click unsubscribe anytime)
  • To calculate and transfer the 80% creator revenue share monthly

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We use Google Analytics for anonymised traffic statistics. You can disable cookies in your browser — the site still works.

5. Third-party services

We do not sell your data. We share only the minimum necessary with:

  • Razorpay — payment processing (PCI-DSS compliant)
  • Brevo — transactional and newsletter emails
  • Google Analytics — anonymised usage statistics

6. Data retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. If you delete your account, personal data is removed within 30 days. Creator earnings records are kept for 7 years as required under Indian tax law (IT Act 1961).

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, download, or delete your personal data at any time. Email admin@animationshortfilms.stream and we will respond within 48 hours.

8. Security

We use HTTPS encryption, bcrypt password hashing, and Razorpay’s PCI-compliant payment infrastructure. Please use a strong, unique password for your account.

9. Children

AnimShorts is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us immediately and we will remove it.

10. Policy updates

We may update this policy. Registered users will be notified by email of any material changes. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
